Houssam is a Partner of EY’s Financial Services Practice and has over 18 years of consulting with specific focus on: Strategy & Business Transformation execution, Customer Experience, Fintech & Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of EY MENA Markets Board which is responsible for the strategy of EY’s MENA Financial services business.
A glance of his expertise on the ground in the ME region. He is leading the design of the payments strategy & technology for a major GCC central bank. He led the design and launch of a GCC FinTech Incubator & Accelerator and achieved positive market results. Besides, he led the digital strategy & digital payments design for a Top 3 MENA Bank. He took primary team leadership for the establishment of a governance and transaction structure for a GCC central bank's $8bn acquisition of local banks’ toxic real estate exposures.
He also led the data & analytics program for a major regional central bank and a development bank in the GCC. He is Leading the agile delivery of an omni-channel system for a major GCC Islamic Bank.
